Students in Ms. Reidy's class at Gardiner Manor School practiced creating menus for Thanksgiving dinner. They needed to decide how many people to invite, what the menu would consist of, construct a shopping list with costs to ensure everyone gets fed, and calculate the cost of their meal. Students used their math skills of comparing, addition, and multiplication to complete their menus. Then they had the opportunity to type up the menu, as well as place cards for those they chose to invite.
