Student Wins Science Honors

 ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø High School science research student, Liaba Niami, won the Honors Award at the Long Island Science Congress awards. Liaba tested the effects of Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) and Trametes versicolor (Turkey Tail Mushroom) on plant cancer in Cucumis sativus (Cucumber). Liaba plans to do research alongside South Shore University professionals during the summer months.
