Dear ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø-Brightwaters Community,
Growing up in ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø, a memory that always stands out is the generosity of our community, particularly during the holiday season. This tradition has only grown stronger in the years since I graduated, with students and staff working together to organize donations, ensuring that all of our families can celebrate the holidays. It is this spirit of togetherness that inspired our theme for the 2024-2025 school year, CommUNITY. We will celebrate this sentiment during our Family Connection Night on November 19, 2024.
During past Family Connection Nights, we have encouraged you to engage in activities with your own families. We continue to hope families use this night to spend time doing activities together. This year, we will also offer opportunities for those who are looking for a way to connect with the larger ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø family. In the coming weeks, each school will communicate with families about the activities that will be available. As part of the evening, we kindly ask those who are able to bring a non-perishable food item that will support families in our ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø-Brightwaters community during the holiday season.
As you plan how you will spend time with your family on November 19, 2024, we invite you to join us at one of the events taking place across our schools. It is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together and spend an evening away from devices, connecting over enjoyable and fun activities.
