Mrs. Patricia L. Rogers, Director of ENL/Dual and World Languages
Mrs. Rogers was added to our ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø team in 2016. She began her career in 1994 in the Islip School District where she taught TESOL at the K-12 level for 16 years. She then served as Coordinator for TESOL and World Language in Islip for 8 years prior to coming to ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø. Mrs. Rogers holds a Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude, from the University at Albany, a Master’s of Science degree from Hofstra University and an SAS/SDA certificate from Dowling College. Her expertise lies in the area of second language acquisition; with over 23 years of service in her field, she holds extensive knowledge of the academic, social and emotional needs of ELLs (English Language Learners) and how best to deliver instruction for learning a world language.
