One-Way Dual Language
Mary G. Clarkson School is home to a One-Way Dual Language program. One-Way Dual Language is a Spanish dual language program that includes instruction in both English and Spanish to help scholars excel academically while becoming bilingual, biliterate and bicultural. A one-way program is intended for native Spanish speakers to continue developing and building on their native languages while learning English. It allows the partner native English class to receive 60 minutes of Spanish enrichment daily. This side-by-side model is homogeneously grouped by native language.
