The Brigance screening is administered as a screening tool within the first 30 days of school. At-risk scores are monitored closely. If necessary, students are referred to the Office of Pupil Personnel Services for evaluations.

Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled in November and again in the spring.

³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø School District UPK Progress Reports are administered 3 times per year. They cover the areas of language/literacy, cognition, social-emotional, motor skills, hygiene-self help and letter identification.

Beginning in the 2018-2019 school year, based on the Emergent Multilingual Learners Language Profile for Prekindergarten students (formally HLQ) and adhering to Part 154 regulations for ESL students, UPK students will be screened and interviewed in June to determine appropriate placement/grouping in September.
