Student Expectations

Attend synchronous lessons every day/time that they are scheduled, with camera on

Participate in asynchronous learning, by completing all work through Google Classroom and Seesaw

Communicate to the teachers any difficulties surrounding participation in Distance Learning

On asynchronous learning days, students will complete an attendance question/assignment in Google Classroom/Google Forms/SeeSaw, as their first task of the school day. Secondary students will complete the attendance assignment for each class on their schedule.
Teacher Expectations

Reinforce to students the importance of attending synchronous lessons with camera on, as well as completing all asynchronous learning and assignments

Record accurate attendance in Infinite Campus and Google Classroom/Seesaw

Report attendance issues that arise to social worker, administration, and/or guidance counselors

Work collaboratively with students and parents to engage in Distance Learning

Inform students and their parents/guardians about attendance issues through one or more of the following methods of communication: phone calls, Remind, DoJo, Talking Points, Google Meets, District email

Will monitor a recurring attendance question/assignment in Google Classroom/Google Forms/SeeSaw for students to complete on asynchronous learning days.
Parent Expectations

Require students to attend synchronous lessons, as well as to participate in asynchronous learning, by completing all work through Google Classroom and Seesaw

Encourage and support child(ren) to review Google Classroom and Seesaw daily for teacher communication, synchronous lesson schedules, and asynchronous assignments and lessons
Communicate to the teachers, support staff and/or administrators any difficulties surrounding participation in Distance Learning
